Halima Mary Wekesa

Traditional drumming player and teacher in Dar es Salaam

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Dar es Salaam Quartet
  • Since 2010
  • English
I play traditional drumming and flute. I started in 2010 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I never rush a conversation. Thank you for stopping by.

More about Halima

I write my first song when I was 16. It was terrible and I still love it.
