I've volunteered with Baobab Neighborhood Trust since 2004. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Halima
If you've ever been helped by one of our sessions, you're the reason we keep going.
What gifts mean to Halima: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
