I play bass and drums. I started in 1987 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 10 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I fix old bicycles.
More about Halima
I write my first song when I was 21. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Halima: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
