I teach statistics at Bamboo Polytechnic since 2006, and supervised 15 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Halima: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
