I teach geography at Üsküdar Boys' School in Üsküdar since 1992. Most days I teach Year 7, and I never raise my voice.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Hakan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Hakan: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.
