Hailu Yonas Lemma

Journalist and author

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Riverside Press
  • 1992 to 2016
  • English, Amharic
I've been writing from 1992 to 2016. First as a hobby, then as a job and finally as the thing I couldn't stop doing. I write best early in the morning with a pot of tea. I'm always reading two books at once.

More about Hailu

Some of my pieces still make me wince. Some, I'm proud of.
