Hailu Tesfaye Abate
Law school mentor, Addis Ababa
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Since 2008
- English, Amharic
I'm a mentor in law school. I've spent my career as a bank clerk and now give some of that back.
I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Hailu
If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.

What gifts mean to Hailu: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
