Hailey White
17 years teaching home economics in Memphis
- 🇺🇸 Memphis, Tennessee, United States
- Silverlake Secondary School
- 1985 to 2008
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, my door was open at lunch.
More about Hailey
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
