Hailey M. Cortez

Youth boxing coach and mentor

  • 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
  • Sacramento Kingsway Athletic Club
  • 2007 to 2016
  • English
I coached boxing at Sacramento Kingsway Athletic Club from 2007 to 2016. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.

More about Hailey

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
