Haile Zerihun

31 years teaching statistics in Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Addis Ababa Boys' School
  • Since 2004
  • English, Amharic
I teach statistics at Addis Ababa Boys' School in Addis Ababa since 2004. Most days I teach Year 9, and I play music while people worked. Over the years I've had 950 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Haile

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Haile: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
