Haile Habtamu Tilahun

Self-taught mural painting artist

  • 🇪🇹 Gondar, Amhara, Ethiopia
  • Old Atlas Gallery
  • 2010 to 2023
  • English, Amharic, French
I'm a mural painting artist based in Gondar. I've been making things from 2010 to 2023 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I watch every football match going.

What gifts mean to Haile: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
