Haile Alemu
Retired geography teacher from Queensway Technical College
- 🇪🇹 Gondar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Queensway Technical College
- 1981 to 1993
- English, Amharic, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and twelve years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Haile
If you were in my Year 7 class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

I was in your Year 7 class in 1991. You believed I could do it before I did.
