Haider Adnan Farooqi

Youth swimming coach and mentor

🇵🇰 Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
1979 to 1988
English, Punjabi

For nine years I ran the swimming program at Mardan Swimming Club in Mardan. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. Thank you for stopping by.
