Hải Vinh Doan

Choir director and singer

  • 🇦🇺 Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia
  • Newcastle Ensemble
  • 1982 to 1991
  • English
I'm a musician from Newcastle. I've toured a little, taught a lot and played at more weddings than I can count. I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Hải

I wrote my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Hải: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
