I coached chess at Wollongong Community Club from 1988 to 2024. Most of my players were between 9 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
