I coached chess at Mecca Victory Boxing Gym from 2009 to 2018. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Hadi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
