Habtamu Yohannes Worku

Religious studies and drama teacher, Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Hillcrest Technical College
  • Since 2004
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 590 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Habtamu

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

Subjects taught

Religious studies
What gifts mean to Habtamu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
