Gustavo Teixeira

Taught early years at Kilimanjaro Boys' School

  • 🇧🇷 Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil
  • Kilimanjaro Boys' School
  • 1979 to 2008
  • English, Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Gustavo

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Gustavo: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
