I taught special education at St. Mary's Primary School in Santos from 1996 to 2018. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 1,210 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Gustavo
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Gustavo: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
