Blacksmithing, done properly
- 🇲🇽 San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico
- Stonebridge Trades Guild
- Since 1996
- Spanish, English
I've worked in blacksmithing since 1996. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 600 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 23 years later for another job.
More about Gustavo
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Gustavo: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
