Gustavo A. González

Youth cycling coach and mentor

  • 🇺🇸 Arlington, Texas, United States
  • Arlington Community Club
  • 1991 to 2003
  • English
I'm a cycling coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 220 kids fall in love with the game. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Gustavo

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Gustavo: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
