Gunawan Umar Setiawan
Self-taught photography artist
- 🇮🇩 Malang, East Java, Indonesia
- Since 1981
- English, Indonesian
I work mostly in photography, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 1981 at Little Stonebridge Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
