Gunawan Ahmad Lie
Sitar and violin teacher
- 🇮🇩 Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia
- Surakarta Elmwood Choir
- Since 2006
- English, Indonesian
I play sitar and violin. I started in 2006 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 13 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Gunawan
I write my first song when I was 20. It was terrible and I still love it.
