33 years teaching economics in Surakarta
- 🇮🇩 Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia
- Rosewood Middle School
- Since 1982
- English, French
I teach economics at Rosewood Middle School in Surakarta since 1982. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Gunawan
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
