Gül Meltem Karaca
30 years teaching early years in İzmir
- 🇹🇷 İzmir, İzmir, Türkiye
- İzmir Grammar School
- 1978 to 2004
- English, Turkish
I taught early years and special education at İzmir Grammar School, İzmir. I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 830 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Gül
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Gül: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
