Gugu N. Lombard

Economics teacher at Riverside High School, 2002 to 2024

🇿🇦 Paarl, Western Cape, South Africa
Riverside High School
2002 to 2024
English, Zulu

For 22 years I was the economics teacher at Riverside High School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I had 1,080 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Gugu

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
