Gugu B. Adams
Retired home economics teacher from Parkside Technical College
- 🇿🇦 Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, South Africa
- Parkside Technical College
- 1994 to 2017
- English, Afrikaans
For 23 years I was the home economics teacher at Parkside Technical College. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Gugu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
