I coached netball at Galway Football Club from 1995 to 2008. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Grainne
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Grainne: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
