I've spent 26 years as a lecturer in computer science at Highland Polytechnic in Dublin. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as an accountant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Grainne
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
