Grace Wunmi Fashola

Youth basketball coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Badagry Kingsway Athletic Club
  • 1990 to 2015
  • English, Hausa, French
For 25 years I ran the basketball program at Badagry Kingsway Athletic Club in Badagry. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Grace

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
