I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
