I taught music at Nairobi Middle School in Nairobi from 2007 to 2019. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 400 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
