I've been a nurse for eight years, most of them in rehabilitation at Holy Cross Community Hospital in Gwagwalada. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
