Grace Efe Odukoya

Helping people break into first-generation students

  • 🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Badagry Association
  • 2014 to 2022
  • English, Yoruba, Spanish
For eight years I've mentored people in first-generation students and leadership. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening. I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Grace: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
