Grace Blessing Igwe
Biology and geography teacher, Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Hope Technical College
- Since 2017
- English, Hausa
For nine years I have been the biology teacher at Hope Technical College. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 160 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Grace
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Grace: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.
