Goro Kimura

History and Spanish teacher, Setagaya

  • 🇯🇵 Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan
  • Setagaya High School
  • Since 2001
  • Japanese
For 25 years I have been the history teacher at Setagaya High School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Goro

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Goro: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
