I've coached boxing at Madurai Community Club since 2007. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Gopal
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Gopal: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
