Gopal R. Raju
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Nagpur, Maharashtra, India
- Little Nagpur Trades Guild
- 2007 to 2016
- English, Telugu
I've worked in bicycle repair from 2007 to 2016. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 540 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 23 years later for another job.
More about Gopal
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Gopal: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
