33 years teaching English literature in Madurai

I teach English literature at Madurai Middle School in Madurai since 2006. Most days I teach Year 7, and my door is open at lunch.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Gopal
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Gopal: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your Year 7 class in 2012. You believed I could do it before I did. Thank you again.
