Gopal B. Swamy
Teacher at Hyderabad Primary School, loves early years

For 43 years I have been the early years teacher at Hyderabad Primary School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Gopal
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Gopal: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your Year 10 class in 2010. You believed I could do it before I did. Truly.
