Gökhan Tarık Kaplan
Teacher at Amsterdam Secondary School, loves physical education
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Amsterdam Secondary School
- Since 1980
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 46 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Gökhan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me physical education in 1994 at Amsterdam Secondary School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand. Truly.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 1992. I remember you. Greetings from Manchester.

You taught me physical education in 1996 at Amsterdam Secondary School. I still remember that terrible school play.
