Godwin Segun Hassan
Painter, potter and teacher at The Kano Art Collective
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- The Kano Art Collective
- 1996 to 2023
- English
I work mostly in textiles, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 1996 at The Kano Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at The Kano Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Godwin
I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
