Godwin Nonso Anyanwu

Badminton and fitness coach, Ogbomosho

  • 🇳🇬 Ogbomosho, Oyo, Nigeria
  • 1997 to 2021
  • English, Yoruba
I coached badminton at Ogbomosho Community Club from 1997 to 2021. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Godwin: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
