Godwin Festus Olawale
Youth tennis coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Since 1991
- English
For 35 years I've run the tennis program at Epe Swimming Club in Epe. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
More about Godwin
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Godwin: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

You coached me in 1995. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Laredo.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
