I coached badminton at San Jose Crescent Sports Club from 2009 to 2019. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Gloria
If you played for me, you probably remember the rainy sports day.
What gifts mean to Gloria: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
