For 45 years I've run the rowing program at Arlington Jacaranda Sports Club in Arlington. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
