I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes watercolor. My first show was in 1980 at Little Cedar Grove Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Gizem
I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
