I've coached chess at Kasarani Liberty Football Club since 2012. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Githinji
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
