Githinji Odhiambo Githinji
Painter, potter and teacher at Kampala Gallery
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Kampala Gallery
- Since 1990
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes jewelry. My first show was in 1990 at Kampala Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I'm always reading two books at once.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
