Githinji Kimani Salim
Geography teacher at Mukono Secondary School, Since 2003
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- Since 2003
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Githinji
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Githinji: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me geography in 2022 at Mukono Secondary School. I still remember that terrible school play.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
